| At 17:01 hours, your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the unit block of W. Main Street in neighboring Norristown Borough to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a reported building fire.
NFD's Quint and Engine 27 arrived to find fire behind a light fixture in an apartment's ceiling with minor extension.
Ladder 43 arrived and assumed 1st due truck company responsibilities positioning on the alpha side of the building alongside LPFD's Tower 53. The ladder's crew was tasked with primary searches on the 2nd floor and checking for any further fire extension on floor #4.
All visible fire was quickly knocked down with no further fire extension found and all searches proving negative. Command placed the fire under control with no reported injuries and the ladder was made available shortly after. |
