| At 14:03 hours Tuesday afternoon, the volunteers and career staff of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched to the 100 block of E. 6th Avenue to assist the Conshohocken Fire Department on a reported garage fire.
Quint 55 arrived on location and confirmed heavy smoke showing and a working fire from a 2 story detached garage.
Squirt 43 with a crew of 4 responded and arrived as the 2nd due engine company. The crew went in service assisting on the first in handline, searches of the 2nd story of the garage and forcing entry through the garage bay door.
Crews knocked all visible fire with minimal extension and the incident was quickly placed under control. Station 43 remained on scene for overhaul until being released just prior to 15:00 hours. |
