| This past Saturday members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43)'s Swift Water Rescue Team traveled just over border into New Jersey on the Delaware River to complete the final leg of Advanced Lines System Rescue.
Station 43 personnel joined with our brothers and sisters of the Conshohocken Fire Department, Norristown Fire Department and Morrisville Fire Company of Bucks County on the river completing mutliple evolutions in building complex rope systems as well as tethered and untethered victim rescues in fast moving water conditions.
Conditions were incredibly challenging to go along with the cold water temperatures but we are thrilled to report all rescuers completed all evolutions successfully and all earned their title as swift water rescue technicians!
Many thanks to our instructors for their time, energy and expertise is seeing us to the finish line! |
