| At 11:39 hours Sunday morning, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched to the 500 block of George Street to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a reported dwelling fire.
Station 27 units arrived to a 3 story twin and confirmed a working fire. Ladder 43 with 4 responded and upon arrival positioned on the alpha side of the fire building with the crew reporting to company staging.
Crews from NFD quickly knocked down all visible fire as mutual aid units were arriving on scene as command placed the fire under control within 20 minutes. Station 43 personnel remained on scene assisting in repacking and getting the first in engine companies back in service. Plymouth was released and available from the scene within the hour. |
