| Last evening at 19:18 hours, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched to the area of the 2000 block of W. Main Street in West Norriton Township to assist the Jefferson Fire Company on a reported building fire.
Assistant Chief 46 arrived to find a 2 story buidling with heavy smoke and fire from an attached garage on the Bravo/Charlie sectors and immediately requested the working fire dispatch.
Ladder and Utility 43 with 7 personnel made the response as part of the working fire dispatch. Ladder 43 arrived and positioned on the Alpha side. The crew went in service searching the 2nd floor of the building for reported trapped animals and assisting with opening up the soffit areas of the affected garage while the operator threw the main to the roof.
The first arriving engine company from 46 along with several surrounding mutual aid departments placed multiple lines in service with an aggressive interior attack to hold the fire to the garage with minimal extension into the remainder of the building.
