| Early this morning at 00:20 hours, the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) was dispatched to the 1000 block of Norris Hills Drive to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a reported building fire.
NFD units arrived to find a shed/storage building attached to apartment building well involved. Station 27 units immediately placed handlines in service to knock down the bulk of the fire quickly.
Ladder 43 made the response and arrived to assume 2nd due truck company responsibilities. Positioning on the Alpha side of the building behind 1st due truck company Tower 53, the operator placed the main to the roof area while the crew went in service assisting with secondary searches and opening up.
Station 43 personnel remained on scene assisting as command needed until beinf released and were available just after 01:30 hours. |
