| At 14:25 hours yesterday afternoon the career staff and volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched with the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 to the 200 block of Ridge Pike in the Plymouth Square Shopping Center for a reported vehicle fire. Montgomery County 911 were receiving multiple calls for a truck in the lot on fire.
Squirt 43 responded and arrived as the first due engine company finding a work truck well involved. Crews from Squirt 43, Engine 44 and Squad 44 placed the Squirt's front bumper 1 ¾" hoseline in service and quickly knocked down all visible fire.
The incident was placed under control within 15 minutes and crews remained on scene completing overhaul and final extinguishment until being released from the scene. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Fire Marshal's office. |
