Yesterday evening at 19:28 hours your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the 600 block of Caroline Drive to assist the Norristown Fire Dept on a reported dwelling fire.

Station 27 units arrived to find smoke inside both residences of a 2 story twin. Ladder and Chief 43 with a crew of 5 responded and assumed 1st due truck company responsibilities upon arrival. The crew went to work opening up on the 2nd floor of both buildings to expose the stubborn fire for the first in engine companies.

Command placed the fire under control within the hour with multiple crews cycling in and out, hampered by the extreme warm weather conducting extensive overhaul. Station 43 was released by command and available after 21:00 hours.
