At 02:29 hours this morning, your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the 100 block of W. 4th Avenue to assist the Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 with a reported dwelling fire.

CFD's Chief 55 arrived to find a 3 story twin single family dwelling with smoke and fire showing from the third floor. Squirt 43 with a crew of 4, Deputy Chief 43 and Chief 43 all made the response. Squirt 43 arrived and positioned at the hydrant assisting in securing a positive water supply for the first in engine companies. The crew were then assigned multiple task including pulling additional hoselines and checking for extension in the bravo and delta exposures as well as opening up and checking for further extension on the roof.

First in engine companies had the bulk of the fire knocked down within 15 minutes. Command would place the fire under control within the hour with no reported injuries. Station 43 was released by command and available just after 04:00 hours.
