At 21:26 hours, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched to the intersection of Ridge Pike and Alanwood Road for a reported vehicle on fire after an accident.

Chief 43 arrived and reported 1 vehicle well involved in fire. Engine 43 with a crew of 4 arrived shortly after as the first due engine and quickly placed the front bumper line in service to knock down the fire. Squirt 43 with a crew of 4 arrived moments after the Engine and their crew assisted with opening up the vehicle and final extinguishment.

The incident was placed under control within 10 minutes and station 43 was available just before 22:00 hours.
