At 15:44 hours Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43)'s Ladder 43 responded to Main Street at Arch Street in neighboring Norristown Borough to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a building fire.

Station 27 units arrived with smoke and fire showing from the Charlie side of a 3 story middle of the row. First in engine crews had the fire knocked down quickly with no further fire extension reported to the property.

Ladder 43 arrived and positioned on the Alpha side assuming first due truck company responsibilities. The ladder crew threw the main to the roof and provided their manpower to the rear of the fire building.

Command placed the fire under control quickly with no reported injuries to residents of first responders. Station 43 was clear and available by 16:30 hours.
