Last evening the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) had the opportunity to train on an acquired vacant residential home scheduled for demolition on Hilltop Road in the township.
Firefighters spent the evening focusing on truck company tactics cycling through several scenarios involving vertical ventilation, VES and forcible entry.
Station 43 would like to thank the property owner along with our representatives in the Fire Marshal's office for allowing this unique and rare training opportunity. We'd also like to thank all of the community members who stopped out to watch our volunteers at work and ask questions regarding our operations and efforts! Lastly, thank you to all the residents in the neighborhood again for their support and cooperation!
