At 22:06 hours last evening your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the unit block of Balligomingo Road at the Arader Tree Service complex in West Conshohocken Borough to assist on a building fire.
George Clay Fire Company - Station 39 units were originally dispatched to the area for an odor and smoke investigation. Local police units advised of a working fire in the complex. First in 39 units arrived to a warehouse building containing multiple vehicles and heavy pieces of equipment well involved in fire.
Ladder 43 with a crew of 8 responded and upon arrival backed into the rear charlie side of the fire building. A supply line from Gladwyne Volunteer Fire Company 's Engine 24 was laid to Ladder 43 and crews placed the master stream in service to start knocking down the fire.
Multiple units from Upper Merion Township Fire & EMS and Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 along with Station 39's units battled the fire with multiple handlines and master streams for several hours with command placing the fire under control just after midnight. Ladder 43 was released from the scene and back in quarters by 01:30 hours. |
