| This past Saturday evening the members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) took a rare night off in order to come together and celebrate our 119th year of service to Plymouth Township and our surrounding communities at our annual awards banquet.
Joined by our family and friends, township council and manager, township emergency services leaders and regional mutual aid chiefs and representatives, great food, great music and even greater camaraderie.
Company President Shelly Simpson along with Fire Chief John Heleniak recognized several members for their outstanding achievements throughout the service year as well as recognizing multiple personnel for their membership anniversary and years of service to the company. Most notably, station 43 was proud to recognize member William Garbacz for an incredible 60 years of service to the company along with 20 years of service and our newest Life Members of the company, Frank Heleniak, Thomas Heleniak, Charles Gallagher and Keith Dewey!
An amazing evening was had by all who attended. Many thanks to the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 for covering all incidents within our local so our crews could enjoy their evening uninterrupted! We're grateful for another save and successful year of service a look forward to our next year ahead and beyond! |
