Your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers have remained busy this Christmas as they were dispatched at 10:48 this morning to assist the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 at the Arista Care at Meadow Springs facility in Plymouth Township for a reported building fire.

Harmonville's Chief 44 arrived and reported smoke showing from the Charlie side of the building, established command and requested the working fire dispatch.

Squad and Tower 44 arrived as the first due engine and truck and placed an 1¾" hoseline in service to quickly knock down a small fire in a laundry room. Squirt, Ladder and Chief 43 made the response and assisted with evacuations and ventilation.

Command placed the fire under control within 20 minutes and crews remained on scene to ensure all residual smoke was ventilated from the property. Station 43 was available just before 12:00 hours.
