Volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) spent their Sunday morning and afternoon brushing up on their heavy vehicle rescue skills.

Members took part in a school bus rescue class sponsored by Elder Technical Rescue Services, LLC. The class tasked our firefighters with using hydraulic rescue tools and hand tools as well as a heavy wrecker tow truck equipped with a rotator in simulated scenarios to affect patient extrication in the event a school bus becomes involved in a motor vehicle collision.

Many thanks to instructors Elder, Gallagher and Griffith for a great day of learning and advancing our skills! We also extend a huge thank you to Bowe's Exxon Car Care Center for the donation of the school bus and use of your yard!
