At 12:11PM Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) 's Ladder 43 was dispatched to the 600 block of E. Marshall Street to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a reported dwelling fire.

NFD units arrived with a 3 story twin with smoke showing from the Bravo and Charlie sides. Ladder and Assistant Chief 43 with a crew of 4 arrived assuming first due truck company responsibilities and positioned on the alpha side of the fire building. The crew performed primary searches, throwing ground ladders and assisted with opening up and extinguishment on the exterior and roof of the main fire building.

First in engine companies made quick work of an exterior fire that extended into multiple floors of the dwelling and command placed the fire under control within 45 minutes with no reported injuries.
