At 17:39 hours, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) along with the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 were dispatched to the 1000 block of Johnson Road for a reported dwelling fire.

HFC's Chief 44 arrived and reported a 1 story single family dwelling and smoke showing. The Johnson Road command was established and the working fire dispatch transmitted. Command advised the fire appeared to be in the charlie/delta corner to the rear of the residence.

Squad 44 arrived as the first due engine company and laid a supply line into the scene. The crew stretched an 1¾" handline to knock down a kitchen fire in the rear. Squirt and Ladder 43 made the response with the Squirt's crew performing primary searches and the Ladder's crew assisting in ventilation and overhaul.

Command placed the fire under control by the 20 minute mark with no reported injuries and no further fire extension. Station 43 was released by command and clear from the scene by 18:30 hours.
