At 04:57 hours, your Plymouth Fire Co. Montco 43 volunteers were dispatched along with Station 44 Harmonville Fire Co. to the 2000 block of Walton Road for the reported dwelling fire. Intial 911 calls reported a house on fire and the residents evacuating.

Harmonville's Chief 44 arrives to a 1 story rancher with fire showing from the bravo/charlie sector and fire venting from the roof. The Walton Road command was established and the working fire assignment was transmitted. Squad 44 arrived as the first due engine company with squirt 43 right behind them. The squirt reverse laid several hundred feet of 5 inch supply line to the hydrant while the crew split and assisted the squad's crew with the first 1 3/4" hoseline while simultaneously pulling a second line.

First in engine companies encountered heavy fire in a rear bedroom with extension into the ceiling and remained of the first floor. Ladder 43 arrived shortly after and their crew was tasked with primary searches, and opening up the first floor.

The working fire dispatch brought in mutal aid from Conshohocken, Whitemarsh, East Norriton, and Wissahickon.

An aggressive interior attack and the continued great teamwork by the township's 2 fire companies had the bulk of the fire knocked down by the second 10 minute mark and the incident being placed under control shortly after. Company's remained on scene conducting extensive overhaul.

All residents evacuated safely with no reported injuries to them or first responders. The fire is being investigated by the Plymouth Township Fire Marshall's Office.

Station 43 and 44 were clear just before 08:00 hours.
