The officers and members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) are excited to share that we have officially placed the new Car 43 into service! This new vehicle in accordance with our long range planning apparatus replacement plan replaces an aging almost 18 year old Ford command vehicle that was privately sold earlier this year.

Car 43 is a 2021 Ford Expedition incident command vehicle that will be assigned to the fire chief. Car 43 has been outfitted with SoundOff Signal Blueprint technology LED emergency lighting and sirens, Rockland Custom Products center console and rear command center, and a new Dell Latitude 7220 tablet MDT computer.

The vehicle is equipped with multiple 800 MHz Montgomery County radios as well a pressurized water can, ABC extinguisher, SCBA, miscellaneous hand tools and all the necessities an incident Commander will need to oversee emergency incidents and personnel accountability.

Our most sincere thanks to our apparatus committee for all of their hard work seeing this project through. A special thank you goes out to Marriott's Emergency Equipment for the tremendous work on this vehicle's upfitting, Danz Lettering for the fantastic graphics and lettering, Whitemarsh Collision for our custom "Plymouth blue" paint job and our sales representative Dorian Jurczak of Chapman Ford of Horsham for all of your assistance in making this project possible!

Station 43 looks forward to the many years of exceptional service this new piece of equipment will provide to our company and to our community!
