At 10:22 hours, your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers and career staff responded to the parking lot of the Lowe's Home Improvement Store of Chemical Road for the reported vehicle fire.

Chief 43 arrived to find an active fire in the engine compartment of an SUV with no exposure issues. Engine 43 with a crew of 4 arrived as the first due engine company and placed the front bumper 1¾" hoseline in service to extinguish all visible fire. Harmonville Fire Company No.1's Engine and Squad 44 arrived on scene with their crews assisting with extinguishment and overhaul.

The incident was placed under control within 10 minutes with no reported injuries. Station 43 was clear and available just before 11:00 hours.
