The officers and members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) would like to send out a HUGE congratulations to our newest state certified interior firefighter Nick Gehman!

Firefighter Gehman has successfully completed all written and practical requirements of the over 188 hours of training required to be an interior firefighter for Station 43. While certainly not a rookie, Nick joined the fire company at the age of 14 as a junior firefighter and began taking academy courses over the last several years leading up to the final phase this past month. Nick like many of our members is a 2nd generation firefighter as he follows in his father's and our current Assistant Chief and past Fire Chief Mike Gehman's footsteps.

Following tonight's weekly drill night, Nick was presented his official helmet and frontal piece by his Dad and by Deputy Chief Burton with members on hand to congratulate him. Join us in congratulating firefighter Nick Gehman on this incredible achievement! We wish you nothing but success Nick. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you on the fire ground!
