| Early this morning at 01:08 hours, the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched to the 3000 block of Chestnut Street in Whitemarsh Township to assist the Barren Hill Fire Company on. Reported dwelling fire.
Whitemarsh Police and Chief 29 arrived reporting smoke showing from the roof of a 3-story single family dwelling. Ladder 43 with a crew of 4 responded and assumed first due truck company responsibilities upon their arrival.
The Ladder crew split with an outside team throwing multiple grounds ladders and horizontal ventilation while the interior team assisted Engine 29 opening up on the third floor to expose and extinguishe fire in the attic area.
Station 43 personnel remained on scene assisting with overhaul until being released by command by 03:20 hours. |
