Your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers had an early start to their Friday morning. At 06:05 hours, station 43 units responded to the 4100 block of Christie Circle in neighboring Whitemarsh Township for a reported dwelling fire. Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company Chief 29 arrived to find a 2 story single family dwelling 35' x 35' with heavy fire showing from the bravo/Charlie sector as well as the roof of the residence.

Squirt 43, Engine 43, Rescue 43 as the Rapid Intervention Team, and Chief 43 all made the response. Both engine crews arrived and were assigned to the second floor to start opening up ceilings and walls to check for fire extension. Rescue 43's crew stood by along with volunteers from Wissahickon Fire Co. as the RIT.

Units placed multiple hand lines in service to extinguish and bring the fire under control quickly with no injuries to residents or to first responders. Station 43 was clear and back in service just after 07:00 hours.
