The Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) continues its busy start to February as the volunteers and career staff were dispatched at 07:44 hours this morning to mile marker 15.8 Northbound on I-476 the Blue Route for a reported vehicle fire.

Chief 43 arrived on location correcting the location to MM 15.6 N/B, reporting 1 sedan on the shoulder with the engine compartment well involved.

Squad 43 made the response and assisted crews from Squad 39 and Delco Squad 15 in quickly knocking down all visible fire. Command placed the incident under control within 10 minutes and turned the scene over to PSP. Station 43 was clear and available just after 08:00 hours.
