The officers and members of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) are once again proud of the most recent accomplishments of one of our own! On Tuesday evening, station 43's Fire Police Captain Adam Heffelfinger was honored by the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Police Association at their annual awards dinner as he was presented with the Fire Police Commissioner's Award! Captain Heffelfinger was honored for his years of leadership as Fire Police Captain and his dedicated service to Plymouth Township and our surrounding communities. He was cited for his professionalism and tremendous ability to command traffic safety incidents and manage emergency scenes. Fire Police officers play such a crucial role within the fire company and emergency services tasked with traffic management, scene safety and security and ensuring the well being of all first responders at all emergency scenes. They are committed to complex scenes, hazardous multi lane and high speed highways with long hours often on scene for hours after the fire apparatus have cleared! We are beyond proud of Captain Heffelfinger and our Fire Police Officers today and every day. We are always looking for dedicated individuals who may want to serve and give back to their community in a a non firefighting manner and our Fire Police unit may just be what you are looking for! Be sure to give us a call or stop by on Tuesday evenings for our drill night at 7:00PM to learn more and pick up an application! |
