At 16:47 hours this afternoon your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the 100 block of West 2nd Avenue to assist the Conshohocken Fire Department on a reported building fire.

CFD's Assistant Chief 55-1 arrived on location reporting a small fire inside a 3 story apartment. Squirt 43 arrived as the 1st due engine laying 300 feet of 5 inch supply line into the scene. The crew along with Gladwyne Fire Co.'s Chief 24 then stretched an 1¾" crosslay into the building to find a small smoldering bedroom fire. The crew knocked down any remaining fire and soaked the room as command quickly placed the fire under control.

Station 43 remained on location assisting Station 55 with overhaul before being released by command just after 17:30 hours.
