| Last evening the volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) had the opportunity to train on an acquired vacant residential home scheduled for demolition on Church Road in the township.
Firefighters spent the evening cycling through several engine and truck company scenarios allowing them to practice skills such as hoseline advancement, vertical ventilation, search and rescue among others.
We'd like to first thank the property owner along with our representatives in the Fire Marshal's office for allowing this unique and rare training opportunity. We'd also like to thank all of the community members who stopped out to watch our volunteers at work and ask questions regarding our operations and efforts! Lastly, thank you to all the residents in the neighborhood again for their support and cooperation! |
