At 07:16 hours this morning, your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the 600 block of W. Marshall Street in the Municipality of Norristown to assist the Norristown Fire Department on a reported building fire.

NFD units arrived to find smoke showing and throughout a 2 story vacant property. The intial engine companies went in service with multiple 1¾" handlines finding fire on both floors and extinguishing the same.

Ladder and Deputy Chief 43 with a crew od 4 responded and upon arrival assumed 2nd due truck company responsibilities. The operator setup the main while the crew laddered the charlie and delta sides, forced entry in both locations and conducted ventilation.

The ladder was cleared by command by 09:00 hours. A great job to the first in Norristown crews yet again and the teamwork by all of the regional mutual aid units! Simultaneously while this incident was taking place, station 43 staffed an additional crew on Engine 43 and handled a vehicle accident with injuries on the Blue Route.
