At 03:42 hours this morning your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Runnymede Drive to assist the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 with a reported dwelling fire.

HFC's Chief 44 arrived to a 2 story SFD with fire showing from an attached garage and extending into the residence. Command was established and the working fire dispatch transmitted brining mutual aid from several neighboring companies into the scene. Squad 44 arrived as the first due engine and immediately went into service to start knocking down the fire. Squirt and Chief 43 with a crew of 4 arrived as the 2nd due engine and advanced a 2nd 1¾" line into the 2nd floor of the residence. Ladder 43 with a crew of 3 arrived as the 2nd due truck company and performed secondary searches and opened up on the second floor and attic.

A quick and aggressive fire attack by first in companies held the fire to the garage area with minimal extension. Command placed the fire under control within the first 30 minutes and units remained on scene for overhaul. Station 43 was clear and available just before 07:00 hours.
