Engine 43 Knocks Down Thursday Morning Vehicle Fire on Sandy Hill Road

At 08:26 hours this morning, the career staff and volunteers of the Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) were dispatched along with the Harmonville Fire Company No.1 to the 1400 block of Sandy Hill Road for the report of a vehicle fire.

FM-44 was first to arrive on scene reporting a lifted Ford F250 pick-up truck to be well involved. Engine 43 with a crew of 3 and Chief 43 arrived and placed the front bumper 1¾" hoseline in service to knock down all visible fire. The crew of HFC's Engine 44 upon arrival assisted the first in crews with final extinguishment and overhaul.

The incident was placed under control within 20 minutes and all crews were available just before 09:00 hours.
