At 18:44 hours Sunday evening your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were alerted to the 500 block of New Elm Street in the Connaughtown section of the township for a vehicle accident stand by. Initial reports indicated a vehicle had struck a home with the operator possibly injured.

Battalion Chief 43 arrived on location and confirmed one vehicle through a fence, colliding with the corner of a residence and the vehicle currently leaning from the fence. Thankfully the operator had self extricated.

Engine and Squirt 43 made the response and due to the vehicle's precarious position and the possibility of it falling and causing further structural damage or injury the crews utilized Paratech Rescue Struts to stabilize the vehicle until the tow truck could arrive and safely move it.

Plymouth Township Codes Department was requested due to minor damage to the residence and the operator was turned over to Plymouth Community Ambulance Association - Medic 308 for evaluation. Station 43 was clear from the scene after 19:00 hours.
