9 Call Monday Leads to Engine 43 Assisting Station 44 with a Vehicle Rescue

After a busy morning your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers have remained even busier throught the afternoon and early evening answering over 9 calls for service thus far!

At 15:41 hours, Station 43 was alerted to respond to assist Harmonville Fire Company No.1 on the 200 block of Ridge Pike in the township for a vehicle accident with entrapment.

Captain 44-2 arrived to find a sedan that went through a fence and over a retaining wall and was now dangling over the wall and partially onto another vehicle with the driver and a passenger confined due to the vehicle's precarious position.

Rescue 44 arrived and stabilized the sedan with a tie back utilizing their winch. One the sedan was secured crews from Station 44 along with the crew of Engine 43 and Battalion 43 assisted the driver and passenger from the vehicle.

The occupants were evaluated by Plymouth Community Ambulance Association - Medic 308 and thankfully we're not injured. Station 43 was released and clear from the scene just after 16:20 hours.
