At 07:01 hours this morning your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to assist the Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 at the WSFS Bank on the 500 block of Fayette Street for a reported building fire.

First arriving CFD units found a heavy smoke condition inside the bank and the working fire dispatch was requested bringing in further mutual aid from surrounding companies. Squirt 43 with a crew of 4, Deputy Chief 43 and Chief 43 made the response and arrived as the 2nd due engine company. The crew assisted in securing the utilities to the building and checking for further fire extension. Deputy 43 was assigned as the command aid for the incident.

Crews located a fire inside the bank that was thankfully held in check by the building's sprinkler system. Crews from CFD and Gladwyne Volunteer Fire Company quickly extinguished all remaining fire and ventilated. Command placed the fire under control within 20 minutes and Station 43 was released from the scene just after 08:00 hours.
