At 00:50 hours your Plymouth Fire Company No. 1 (Montco 43) volunteers were dispatched to the area of E. Ridge Pike and Lucetta Street for a possible vehicle fire. The 911 caller reported seeing smoke and flames from inside a vehicle.

Plymouth Township Police Department officers were first to arrive and reported fire from a vehicle on Lucetta Street just off of the corner of Ridge Pike.

Engine, Squirt and Chief 43 made the response shortly after dispatch. The Engine and Chief arrived on scene and confirmed the intial report of a 4 door sedan well involved. The crew from Engine 43 deployed the front 1 3/4" bumper line and quickly extinguished all visible fire.

The scene was turned back over to the police department and station 43 was made available just before 01:30 hours. There were no injuries to civilians or to first responders.
